It's the card game where Ace is always high, and Deuce is always low. Turn any two cards face up, then just try to fit a card in between that neither higher nor lower!

It's just that simple to play the all-new big money big prize game....

and now here's your host...

Gameplay
Two contestants
competed. Three choices are revealed, and then a question is asked.
The
first player to buzz in
must
give the TWO answers associated with that question. Following that, a card is
dealt, from a regulation 52 card playing card deck. The object for the players
is to create as a large a spread for themselves, while narrowing the spread for
their opponents, so they can fit a playing card in between two cards.
The
player who answered the question right must decide whether to take the first
card, give it to their opponent, or put it in the middle (the "common"
card). Then, a second card is dealt
the same way, and finally a third. Then a second question is asked, and whoever
answers correctly gets control. The player who answers correctly can take the
card, and hope that the card fits between their own card and the
common card, or pass to their opponent, and hope it doesn't fit between their
cards. If it fits for themselves or pass to their opponent and it doesn't fit,
they win the hand (a tie goes to the player). If they pass to their opponent,
and fits between their card or they keep it and it doesn't fit, they lose. There
are also Insurance cards in the deck, which, when dealt out,
can be used by either player in the bonus round (doesn't matter who has
control). First player to win 3 hands wins the game and goes to the bonus round.
Pot Limit
The winner of the main
game played Pot Limit. The player tried to get as much money as they could in
order to win prizes. They are given $1000 to start. They are then dealt a card,
and can decide to put it on the outside, or in the middle. 3 hands are played.
Like before, the object is to fit a card in between the two cards. After two
cards are dealt, they make a bet.
The
insurance cards mean that they can replace any card after the two cards are
dealt, and a tie always goes to the player. Reaching $2000 won a trip to Paris
,
reaching $4000 won the trip and a fur
,
and reaching $5000 won a Lincoln Continental and the trip and fur.
Also, the deck is modified with four extra 2's, four extra Ace's, and four
Joker's,
which
automatically wins $1000 on top of their score.

My Review
Being a fan of Card Sharks, I really like this game. The questions seemed to drag on though. If they could've made them more like High Rollers/Gambit, it'd have gone by faster. The set looks like it's taken from Dream House, and the music sounds like the '80s guitar riff from the All-New Dating Game. Jim does a decent job hosting.
